This is the home site of Kissaki-Kai Karate-Do and
Law Enforcement Training Services International.
We uphold the values and principles of the original purpose of the martial arts; to empower members with the ability to defend themselves, their families and the weak, and to foster the development of steadfastness, courage and integrity.
From this site you can learn more about us, contact instructors and Dojo in your own country, find out about seminars and special events, as well as order books, videos & DVDs.
We offer a true, field-tested defensive art for Police Forces and Special Forces as well as the entire family.
Train with us in 2013!
It is a busy year and so far Sensei Morris has held seimars in Arizona and California and of course one of the regular mini-seminars here in NJ.
But the biggest event will be our annual Kissaki Summer camp in the USA in June: Participants and instructors come from all over the world and as a guest of honour we have invited Sensei Chuck Merriman, one of the pioneers of karate in America.
Check out the 'seminars' page for details.
Throughout the year also have many opportunities to train with local Kissaki chief instructors: Sensei Don Came in the UK, Sensei Guy Janssens in Belgium and Sensei Gerry Smullen in Ireland offer regular classes and workshops open to all styles. And of course Sensei Vince Morris himself will be visiting again many dojo later this year in the UK, Germany and Belgium.
Please visit our 'seminars' page for dates and locations.
NEW KANSETSU WAZA KATA DVD
Especially created to re-introduce the 'Chin Na' - grappling and joint-locking elements of the original defensive combat art, now prohibited from the competition-orientated modern Sport Karate, but vital for real self-defence!

Here is what one subscriber recently e-mailed us:
Vince,
I wanted to tell you I appreciate this month's master class video. The footage of the officer beating served as a great illustration of so many themes I encounter studying karate. That video alone expresses the need for realistic training! Where do you get those great videos? A collection of real violence footage helps narrow the discussion with those who tend to honor their ritualized training and have rarely, if ever, found themselves in a violent encounter. Thanks for all you do. David
